This is my latest skin. I like the simple look of it, and how quick it loads, I may put it in the design shop later.

So it’s time for an update. With the launch of my design shop and school now taking it’s load I have had little time to write my progress on the car, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been working on it
So far here are some things that I have installed or I am waiting to get on the car.
- A short time later I purchased a build race-spec engine. It is still a D series, but with VTEC perminently on. It also has a transmission with a shorter final drive. I’m waiting to install this once everything else is finished with the car.
- The Type R received new wheel and tires. I had purchased Mugen MF-10’s shortly before they were discontinued. They were then wrapped with Toyo T1-R’s in 225/45/16 size, 30mm larger in width than stock. The stock Type R rims will be repainted and stored, the tires on the other hand have been installed on Murciélago, which are 205/55/15 in size. The stock wheels were replaced by flat black 15×7 Rota Slipstreams. These rims are 2 inches taller and wider than stock, which is the maximum tire size I can use in Honda Challenge H4. For lug nuts I have chosen to go with Skunk2 open ended lug nuts. They came coated with a nice bronzish-gold color, but it wears off really easy.
- Sine I have a DX model, most if not all of the creature comforts did not come with the car. There is no radio, power-steering, air conditioning, and to my dismay only one mirror on the driver side, which also turned out to be broken. I orded some replica Spoon Sports mirrors. They are not carbon-fibre but they should serve their purpose just as well. Along with that I ordered replica Vision amber corner lights for the front just to add a little bit of JDM flare. (I know function over form, but I wanted to spoil myselft a little.)
- I replaced a broken rear tail light with a stock one.
- The interior has been completly stripped and sold.
- The exhaust wan cut right after the resonator, I don’t have any plans at the moment to purchase another one.
- I was playing with ride heights, so I cut the stock springs to see where I wanted the car to sit and also play with tire clearances.
Right now my biggest set back is not having enough money to purchase the roll cage, which is the largest most expensive item, even more so than the car itself. I will take pictures of car as it is and start a photoalbum.
Still more to go, I can already see this turing into a money pit
